Mr. Dabelgott has 35 years of executive management experience in the property-casualty insurance industry. His experience spans the full gamut of disciplines including general and executive management, operations, marketing, claims and underwriting. His most recent leadership positions include being an Executive Vice-President for Farmers Insurance; and owning and operating retail independent agencies and an MGA in California.

Mr. Dabelgott has an enviable track record of 25 years of corporate experience at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. In this time, he held executive roles in Claims, Product and Distribution. In 2003, he was asked to rebuild the Farmers Southern California’s distribution force into a profitable and growing state. In a span of 5 years, he turned an unprofitable book of 3B in GWP into a growing book of over 3.5B.

After he left Farmers Corporate Leadership, he acquired 7 Captive Agencies and grew them into one of the largest Farmers P&C, Life and Financial Services Agencies with over 13M in profitable premium and 100M in AUM. He has also been part of other start-ups and early-stage organizations in Admitted Personal Lines Insurance, Cayman Captive Formation, Independent Agency and MGA markets.

In Mr. Dabelgott’ most recent endeavor he served as CEO of Associated Health Plans of America, Inc., headquartered in Rancho Santa Fe, California. He was instrumental in setting the business, financial, marketing and distribution plan for this MGA and within 4 years it grew to over 30 million in GWP. In September of 2019, the MGA was successfully sold privately to another MGA.

Mr. Dabelgott holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and is actively licensed as a P & C producer in 15 states. He also holds a claims license in Florida and a Real Estate Brokers license in the state of Tennessee.

Mr. Dabelgott has also been the Chairman and a Board Member of The March Of Dimes and the Monarch school in California.
